VILLA BLESSING-JANUARY 2008 Our villa was blessed in the special
Hawaiian tradition by the Kahu. Before entering the home, he offered a special prayer and blessing in Hawaiian.
Once inside, he continued the blessing, telling of the history of this special place which has become Hali'i Kai (Stretching
out to the Sea). After the blessing we were treated to the traditional Hula which welcomed in the positive mana of the
island.
The Kahu enters the home and blesses it, offering his Ti leaf lei to the
homeowner and praying that all who enter the villa will become especially blessed.
